Well it was good while it lasted. My school finally blocked Jalopnik.
Says it contains “prohibited forum content”. Except Gawker isn’t blocked... (I checked looked like they blocked the sub-blogs).
It’s a damn shame, because my school has also blocked Top Gear, Autoblog, Hotrod Magazine, and Road & Track. (The communist censorship say these have unsolicited ads, still who blocks a BBC site?)
Car & Driver, Opposite Lock, Speedhunters, StanceWork, Passatworld, and VWVortex isn’t blocked though (well the community forums section of VWVortex is blocked)...
(And I can get probably get past the filter by telling Google Translate that the site is actually Spanish and needs to be translated to English.)

Go through a proxy server. There are many free ones. Just use Google to find one, and you’re back on.
